Who pays for this service? In most cases, insurance pays for some or all of the bill for a biohazard cleanup.

What is your response time? Our response time is usually within 2-3 hours or less.

Is Aftermath certified? All of our technicians are OSHA (Occupational Safety Health Administration) bloodborne pathogen certified, bonded, and properly insured. Aftermath trucks have biohazard placarding as required by the DOT (Department of Transportation). In addition, we are licensed as medical waste transporters, where applicable, according to federal, state, and local EPA regulations.

Where are you located, and what is your coverage area? Our corporate headquarters is located in Oswego, Illinois, and we have offices throughout the United States. All of these offices are owned by Aftermath and are NOT franchises or subcontractors.

What questions should I ask regarding this service? There are many companies that attempt to perform bioremediation services. Do your homework to make certain that you are hiring an expert.

How long have you been in business performing biohazard remediation services? Aftermath has performed biological recovery for over 15 years.

What other services does your company perform? Aftermath dedicates all of its resources into remaining an industry leader in biological recovery. We do not clean carpets, remodel bathrooms, provide security services or perform fire, smoke or water restoration services. Why hire a 'jack of all trades' and a master of none?

Will the technicians and supervisor be employed by your company? Aftermath will send technicians and a supervisor that are trained in the "Aftermath Way®" and work solely for Aftermath. Some companies act as a 'broker' to subcontract your work, looking only for a commission. Aftermath is dedicated to performing the highest quality job.

What company disposes of your medical waste? Many companies will charge for special waste handling and disposal of medical waste, however, they illegally dispose of the waste in regular landfills. Aftermath uses various licensed medical waste disposal companies across the nation to ensure we remain compliant will all regulations regarding proper disposal.
