EPA Approves Aftermath Services’ Chemical for Efficacy Against Coronavirus

AURORA, IL – August 6, 2020 — Recently, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that 13 products on their ‘List N‘, a list of disinfectants that kill coronavirus, officially completed laboratory testing for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Included in this list are Aftermath Services’ proprietary chemicals, making them one of the few companies that can legally claim their disinfectants kill the coronavirus, which has further cemented their status as the nation’s #1 coronavirus cleanup service.

While Aftermath Services has always known the efficacy of their chemicals against SARS-CoV-2 thanks to innovative surface testing technology, the EPA’s announcement legally sets in stone the chemicals’ viability after completing rigorous lab testing. According to the EPA, “Before pesticide products can legally make claims that they can kill a particular pathogen such as SARS-CoV-2, the claim must be authorized by EPA based on a review of data.”

“We are very excited,” says Doug Berto, CEO of Aftermath Services, “We’ve been dedicated to helping communities across the country through biohazard and infectious disease cleanup for almost 25 years. Having the EPA’s official seal of approval really validates the work that we do. We will continue to provide the most professional death and disease cleanup services possible through our state-of-the-art technology and certified procedures.”
