First responders face a multitude of dangers every time they’re called into the field. Even at an inactive scene, such as the aftermath of a homicide or suicide, they are exposed to harmful pathogens that can be present in blood and other bodily fluids.

Unseen dangers have increased exponentially since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. While some are lucky enough to work from home, first responders do not have that luxury; they are still out and about, putting themselves at risk in order to make sure their communities are safe. To give back to those who have given, Aftermath Services is offering free safety training programs to first responders to help them mitigate their exposure to both bloodborne pathogens and COVID-19.
