Stopping in at the Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association Trade Show

The Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association (RIPCA) hosted their annual trade show on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Quonset O Club in North Kingston, RI. The one day event attracted many area Chiefs and their command staffs, as well as sargents, lieutenants, and other LE employees.

According to the organization’s website, the mission of RIPCA is to assist law enforcement in the State of Rhode Island with the administration of public safety, and to promote unity between law enforcement and the public to enhance the effectiveness of law enforcement and improve quality of life within the community.

While vendors set up, the organization sponsored a Chief’s breakfast meeting. Aftermath’s Senior Manager of Law Enforcement, Ken Rosa, was armed with coffee and pastries when the doors finally opened at 10:00 am.

RIPCA also generously provided lunch to all attendees and vendors, allowing conversations to continue around the afternoon meal. The time-saving measure kept everyone focused on the event. “It was a busy couple of hours,” Ken remarked. “There were lots of people stopping by to chat and ask questions.”

Most attendees were curious about Aftermath’s east coast locations, as well as the company’s response times and efforts to work with insurance agencies. At the conclusion of the conference, drawings were held to give away booth prizes, offered by the vendors. Aftermath gave away a 5.11 tactical bag and PPE kit.

Aftermath attends conferences and other law enforcement events from coast to coast, speaking to police and other professionals about the importance of proper biohazard cleaning. We know that families look to officers for advice on how to safely recover following a tragedy. We arm them with information so they can continue to care for the communities they serve. To learn more about the relationship between Aftermath and law enforcement, visit our website, and don’t forget to vote for your local department in our 2017 K9 Grant Competition, going on now through 11/7/17.
