Last month, Aftermath’s Senior Manager of Law Enforcement Relations in the Midwest, Patrick Leone, braved frigid temperatures to visit the Indiana Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Mid-Winter Conference. Attending the event were Police Chiefs, as well as Deputy Chiefs, Commanders, and Captains.

At the Vendor’s Booth

On the vendor side of things, Aftermath represented the only biohazard cleanup company. The conference used a seminar format, with a long break in the afternoon to visit with the companies.

The booth location was excellent, and the extended time allowed Patrick to have great interactions with IACP members and visitors. Attendees were pleased to learn that Aftermath works with many major homeowners insurance companies, providing no obligation assessments and relieving families of much of the responsibility for payment following a biohazard incident.

“They were also curious to learn about the company’s response time and appreciated that we have locations that are able to serve all parts of the state,” Patrick said.

Greetings and Giveaways

The Chiefs also enjoyed Aftermath’s promotional giveaways. Two prizes were awarded. Detective Commander Steve Flores of the St. John Police Department and Commander Scott Bock of the Lake County Sheriff’s Department both received 5.11 Tactical Bail Out Bags.

“It was a fantastic show,” Patrick concluded following the event. “Everyone was really friendly, and attendees were receptive and interested in our company and services.”

Aftermath is Backing the Blue

It was a pleasure meeting so many of the dedicated Chiefs and officers who serve the state of Indiana. Aftermath is a proud supporter of law enforcement nationwide. We attend conferences like IACP to showcase our services and enable professionals in the law enforcement field to have the information needed to help educate their communities on the risks of biohazards.
