2020 Safety & Training – Condensed Rules

Grants totaling $10,000 will be awarded to six law enforcement agencies for Law Enforcement Safety and Training. 250 PPE kits will be awarded to individuals chosen at random from eligible entries. Maximum of 1 PPE kit per individual. Lunch, valued at $200, will be awarded to the department with the largest number of individual PPE entries.

GRAND PRIZE: $10,000 (One-$5,000 Grand Prize and Five-$1000 Runner-Up Prizes) for use towards Law Enforcement Safety and Training Programs will be awarded to six law enforcement agencies based on the merits of submitted grant applications. In addition each of the 6 winners will receive up to 50 PPE kits for their respective department.

INDIVIDUAL PRIZE: Up to 250 PPE kits will be awarded to individuals chosen at random from eligible entries. Maximum of 1 PPE kit per individual. Lunch, valued at $200, will be awarded to the department with the largest number of individual PPE entries.

CONTEST TERMS: The Contest entry period begins at 12:00am CST on February 3, 2020 and ends at 11:59pm CST on February 28, 2020. All winners will be announced on March 3, 2020. If no response is made by winner by March 10, 2020, the prize is forfeited. Noncompliance with the foregoing, failure to abide by these Official Rules, failure to respond within seven (7) days after the first attempt to contact the potential winner, or return of the prize as undeliverable may result in disqualification and the naming of the next highest vote recipient as the winner. No compensation will be given upon prize forfeiture for any reason. Unaccepted prizes may be re-awarded at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of mailing address, email address, and/or telephone number of entrants.
