The PPE Contest: Win PPE kits or 5.11® tactical bags

What is the PPE Contest?

Aftermath has a longstanding commitment to raise awareness around biohazard safety, particularly within the law enforcement community. We recognize that officers work on the frontlines of crime and accident scenes, where they regularly come in contact with blood and other biological materials. To educate and protect these officers, we introduced the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Contest. Wearing PPE is one of the most effective means to limit officers’ exposure risk and control the spread of bloodborne pathogens. Each year, Aftermath gives away hundreds of PPE kits and 5.11® Tactical bags to officers nationwide.

When can I enter?

The 2018 PPE Contest begins February 26! All first responders can enter once per day. Refer a fellow officer and get a bonus entry!

"Dennise was exceptional. She was patient, knowledgeable, hardworking and a pleasure to work with. She assembled an excellent crew who worked hard to ensure that the house was remediated."

Amy M. - Missouri City, TX

"Tom and his team were absolutely amazing and worked through the night so that the family with a special needs child could come back into their home as soon as possible. They were very compassionate. They weren’t all business, very professional. I recommend him and his staff to anyone who goes through a tragedy such as this. God bless them all. "

Erika W. - Fayetteville, NC

"The team was very informative, sensitive to our needs, and very professional and listened to what we had to say. The house is very clean and smells good with no lingering odors. I am very happy with the job that was done and could not have asked for anything better. Wonderful team, fantastic job! Thank you! "

Lisa S. - Raleigh, NC

"I had no clue what to do, especially as I was overwhelmed with grief. Hooper and Weaver in Grass Valley, CA, recommended your company. As it was a Saturday, I honestly expected to have to wait a few more days to have it cleaned. But from the moment I contacted your company, I received both professional & compassionate help. While I would never wish this experience on anyone, it was good to have such a professional company & compassionate people when I needed them. I just want to say thank you to your three employees and let you know that you have some wonderful people working for you."

Jennifer P. - Grass Valley, CA

"Absolutely phenomenal service, I couldn’t have asked for a more professional, compassionate, well-grounded crew to have taken care of me and this job. Paul and his co-worker were outstanding, absolutely heart-felt, kind, perfect people for the job. I will recommend this company whenever I get the chance."

Lauren N. - Cinnaminson, NJ

"Rick, Jay, and Sonny did an outstanding job of meeting or in most cases exceeding our expectations at a very difficult and trying time for our family. I am a close personal friend of the funeral director who gave us your name and have already assured him of their outstanding work for us. Truly an asset to your company and great representatives!"

Janet H. - Neosho Rapids, KS

"Aftermath team made a very hard event much easier. Without them, I do not know how I would have made it through this. Corry went above and beyond my expectations. She was much more than the lead and for that I am more than thankful."
