The AFTERMATH K9 GRANT is open to any law enforcement and first responder agency in the US. The grant can be used toward creating or maintaining a K9 program. DEPARTMENTS with the most community votes from each tier will be AWARDED $2,500 GRANTS!

WHAT IS THE AFTERMATH K9 GRANT?
Aftermath Services has always been committed to supporting law enforcement and first responders. The annual K9 Grant is one of the many ways that Aftermath recognizes and rewards departments across the country for the contributions their K9 units make to their communities. Since the beginning of the K9 Grant, Aftermath has awarded almost $200,000 in grants to K9 units nationwide.

Q: What is the Aftermath K9 Grant?
A: Open to any agency (LE, Fire/EMS, Coroner, Search & Rescue, etc.), for the creation, maintenance, OR
growth of any K9 unit.
Q: What kind of K9 programs are eligible?
A: Any Single/Multipurpose OR Community/Therapy K9 programs are eligible. Any agency that has a K9
program that gives back to their community in any capacity are encouraged to participate!
Q: Do agencies have to use the Grant money for their K9 unit?
A: Yes, the Grant must be used for the sole purpose of maintaining or creating their K9 unit.
Q: When can I register my agency?
A: The Registration Period will begin on May 17th, when an online registration form will be added to the Grant web page for that purpose. Registrations will be accepted through 11:59 PM on May 24th.
Q: Who can register an agency?
A: Anyone within the agency. By registering, you are indicating the agency is aware of their participation in the Grant.
Q: If my local department is registered more than once, will that increase their chances of winning?
A: No. Only one registration for each agency will be listed. The grant awards are determined entirely by the results of community voting within each tier.
Q: When can I start voting?
A: Community voting is from May 25th through 11:59pm on June 5.
Q: How can my small community compete with larger cities?
A: The agency with the most community votes from each tier* will be awarded top prize!
(*Tiers are based on the number of full and part-time employees)
Q: Why are other agencies from different states when I click on my state to vote?
A: We have organized states into regions to make it easier for some to find their agencies.
Q: How can I make it easy for other community members to vote for my agency?
A: Share your agency’s submission on social media! There are four buttons under the VOTE button to
share to your various social media platforms or to copy a link. Remember to use #AftermathK9Grant in
your posts when telling your friends to visit our page to vote!
Q: How do I know how many votes my department has?
A: The votes will be tallied after the close of the Grant and the winners will be announced on June 7th.

Q: How many times can I actually vote each day?
A: You can vote 3 times per day (1 on our website, 1 on Facebook, and 1 on Instagram).

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Aftermath K9 Grant (“Grant”) is open only to U.S. law enforcement agencies or first responders who are legal residents of 50 U.S. states/D.C., 18+ years of age. The Grant registration period begins at 12:00am CST on May 17, 2023 and ends at 11:59pm CST on May 24, 2023. The Grant voting period begins at 5:00am CST on May 25, 2023 and ends at 11:59pm CST on June 5, 2023. Once voting period begins, votes can be made by legal residents of the United States who 13 years of age or older with a valid email address or social media account at time of entry. Void where prohibited. Eligible voters may vote once every 24 hours on the designated voting website and once daily on Instagram (@AftermathK9Grant) and Facebook (@AftermathCares) by liking the daily post and posting the agency name and state they wish to vote for in the comment section. Aftermath reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual or agency it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, and/or the legitimate operation of the Grant. Use of automated entries or programs or entries submitted by third parties are prohibited and will be disqualified. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the permitted number of entries by using multiple and/or different identities, forms, registrations, addresses or any other method will void all of that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion. The votes will be tallied after the close of the Grant and the winning law enforcement agencies will be announced on June 7, 2023. If no response is made by winner by June 14, 2023, the Grant is forfeited. Aftermath is not responsible for incorrectly formatted entry forms. All entrants agree to allow Aftermath to use their name, likeness, and video for perpetuity in marketing. Odds of receiving the Grant are dependent upon the number of valid applicants received.
