Using proprietary processes and cleaning solutions, they will properly disinfect any blood or bodily fluids. These may carry pathogens such as HIV, MRSA, H1N1 (bird flu), E. coli, and Hepatitis B and C, which could be passed to future inhabitants if the scene is not completely remediated.
Once you contact our office, one of our New Haven crime scene cleanup teams will immediately deploy any time, day or night. We travel throughout the area, to cities such as Bristol, Bradford, Southington, and Glastonbury. After surveying the situation, we will prepare a written proposal and give you as much time as you need for questions.
After completely remediating the scene, we dispose of biohazardous materials according to all local, state and federal environmental, safety and transportation laws. And we leave you with recommendations for further assistance as needed, as well as a resource guide containing a description of the work that was done.

Case Studies of Jobs Performed in the New Haven, CT Area
Bristol, CT – Many death scenes are limited to a single area, but a violent death such as a homicide can have a widespread effect on an entire home. Following a tragic incident in Bristol, Connecticut, Aftermath technicians were faced with serious challenges during cleanup. Upon entering the home, the crew immediately noticed blood on the kitchen floor and on cabinets, walls, and other surfaces. There was also a pool of biological fluids in the living room.
Because of the age of the home, technicians were concerned that the kitchen floor might contain asbestos. They cleaned the walls and surfaces of the cabinets while waiting for the floor to be tested. In the living room, the seams of the hardwood flooring were found to be contaminated. Using a reciprocating saw, a 4’x3′ section of hardwood flooring was cut away.
When word came back that the kitchen floor was free of dangerous substances, the crew proceeded with caution, using a pry bar to remove the affected tiles as needed. In the end, Aftermath helped prepare the home for remodeling by returning it to a clean, sanitary state.
