Anyone in the community – whether you are a student, a local business, or a fellow officer – can vote to support their favorite nominated K9 unit! Individuals may vote ONCE every 12 hours online and ONCE daily on Instagram (follow @AftermathK9Grant). Please vote responsibly.

Votes will be tallied after the voting period ends and the winning K9 units will be announced on November 5, 2017. So be sure to spread the word and come back daily starting TOMORROW to ensure that your departments wins a grant!

This year, the Aftermath K9 Grant will award a total of $16,500 in grants that can be used to further established K9 units or to create a brand new ones. Communities nationwide will determine the top eight award recipients through popular vote.

Abbreviated Grant Terms

Official Aftermath K9 Grant Terms: The Aftermath K9 Grant (“Grant”) is awarded only to law enforcement agencies in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia. The Grant nomination period begins at 12:00am CST on October 1, 2018 and ends at 11:59pm CST on October 16, 2018. The Grant voting period begins at 5:00am CST on October 18, 2018 and ends at 11:59pm PST on November 2, 2018. Once voting period begins, votes can be made by legal residents of the United States who are 6 years of age or older with a valid email address at time of entry. Void where prohibited. Individuals may vote ONCE every 12 hours on the designated voting website (www.aftermath.com/K9Grant) and ONCE on Instagram (@AftermathK9Grant). Aftermath reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual or agency it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the entry process, and/or the legitimate operation of the Grant. Use of automated entries or programs or entries submitted by third parties are prohibited and will be disqualified. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the permitted number of entries by using multiple and/or different identities, forms, registrations, addresses or any other method will void all of that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s discretion. The votes will be tallied after the close of the Grant and the winning law enforcement agencies will be announced on November 5, 2018. If no response is made by winner by November 12, 2018, the Grant is forfeited. Aftermath is not responsible for incorrectly formatted entry forms. All entrants agree to allow Aftermath to use their name, likeness, and video for perpetuity in marketing. Odds of receiving the Grant are dependent upon the number of valid applicants received.
